The COVID-19 Committee (C19C) is a student-led committee that recruits and connects OUHSC students to COVID-19 projects and initiatives happening on campus. The C19C also recognizes student involvement in the fight to end the pandemic.

Amber Garcia, a bachelor of public health student, began working at IMMY Labs initially as a Covid-19 Test Pod Greeter in November 2021. Once the vaccine became available, she began to help with the vaccine marathon days at the Embassy Suites and helped the nurses prepare to administer the vaccine to thousands of people daily. Amber still continues to work with IMMY Labs in their efforts to provide Covid-19 tests and vaccines to the community.

If you are a student who has been (or is) involved in the fight to end the pandemic, please connect with the C19C at https://bit.ly/3sFuR8z to have your contributions recognized
