Biography

At the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC), I have been building my interdisciplinary research lab—Occupational and Environmental Health & Artificial Intelligence (OEH-AI) Lab. Research in the lab focuses on three directions: (1) identifying and assessing exposure of hazards (e.g., aerosols, bioaerosols, gases, etc.); (2) integrating AI techniques (e.g., traditional machine learning methods, deep learning, etc.) into occupational and environmental health fields; and (3) studying air pollutants and their climate effects using atmospheric dynamic models.  I have been working as an aerosol scientist, industrial hygienist, environmental engineer, modeler, and programmer.
