The Hudson College of Public Health (HCOPH) is strategically expanding its online education offerings, aiming to increase global access to public health education. Led by Halley Reeves, the Director of Online Education, the college is currently accepting applications for the spring 2024 semester for its online Master of Public Health (MPH) in Population and Community Health. The online programs target existing students, medical professionals, and career experts seeking additional public health training. Reeves, collaborating with a steering committee, is focused on developing flexible online courses, including asynchronous options, to accommodate employed students.

Emphasizing international outreach, the college aims to break down barriers for global students, with uniform fees and a commitment to program efficiency. Reflecting on the impact of the pandemic, Reeves acknowledges the opportunity it provided to enhance online education quality, with the college now actively working to create interactive and engaging online learning experiences. Currently concentrating on the MPH program, HCOPH is exploring the viability of expanding other programs online, marking an exciting phase in expanding educational opportunities.
