PhD Student Receives Second Place for Poster Presentation at American Society of Preventive Oncology Annual Meeting

Ami Sedani, a PhD candidate in Epidemiology and Hudson Fellow in Public Health, received 2nd place for her poster presentation at the American Society of Preventive Oncology’s (ASPO) Annual Meeting. Her topic was “Differences in cannabis use among cancer survivors in the US, 2019”.

ASPO is a multi-disciplinary society which, through a variety of professional education activities which take place surrounding its annual meeting, is primarily committed to serving as an advocate for cancer prevention and control research. Their mission is to foster the continuing development of investigators and other professionals involved in cancer prevention and control, and the exchange and translation of scientific information to reduce the cancer burden. The 2022 meeting was held March 15-17 in Tucson, AZ.
