Research Reveals Insights into Colorectal Cancer Disparities Among White Americans, Alabama African Americans, and Oklahoma American Indians

We are proud to spotlight the groundbreaking research conducted by one of our faculty members from the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Chao Xu, Ph.D., who recently co-authored a publication titled Molecular Disparities in Colorectal Cancers of White Americans, Alabama African Americans, and Oklahoma American Indians. This study, published in the prestigious npj Precision Oncology, unravels critical insights into the molecular disparities underlying colorectal cancers among different ethnic groups in the United States.

Colorectal cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in the United States, affecting people of diverse backgrounds. However, this research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the disease's molecular mechanisms across various racial and ethnic groups.
