Kalyn is a second year student pursuing a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology. She works as a Graduate Research Assistant reviewing policy and implementation on TSET’s Healthy Living Program. Kalyn received her Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from East Central University in 2020. Her work with Dr. Deirdra “Dee” Terrell during her summer undergraduate internship led her to the field of epidemiology. Her passions include chronic diseases, community health, health disparities and health equity. When not working or in class, Kalyn enjoys reading, painting, bicycling, hiking or looking after her cats Minnie and Tigger.
