Dr. Machiorlatti is an Assistant Professor appointed in both the Hudson College of Public Health and the Dodge College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Dr. Machiorlatti’s primary appointment is in the OUHSC Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology and his secondary appointment is within the OU Dodge CAS Public and Community Health Program.
Dr. Michael Machiorlatti received his PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2019. He also holds an MS in applied mathematics from the University of Central Oklahoma (2007). His statistical research interests are in linear modeling, sampling theory, and missing data analysis. He has applied interests in oncology but enjoys working on a broad range of health-related topics with researchers at all stages (students, residents, fellows and faculty) and positions. Dr. Machiorlatti has publications in hematology, malpractice litigation, tobacco research, cost analysis, OBGYN, and other human populations research. Dr. Machiorlatti comes to us from the University of Texas Health Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine, Department of Population Health and Biostatistics where he has served as an Assistant professor since 2020.
