Biography

Gabbi is an Instructor in the Department of Health Promotion Sciences and acts as the Operations Manager for the Center for Public Health Practice. In this role, she works to coordinate and align health preparedness and disease prevention efforts in the state. Gabbi is passionate about integrated public health and healthcare systems and believes that evidence-based health policies and multi-sector cooperation are critical for effective emergency response systems. She received a BS from UCO and a master’s degree in Public Health concentrating in Health Administration and Policy from the OUHSC Hudson College of Public Health. Throughout her time working on her BS and MPH, Gabbi worked in various roles surrounding grassroots policy advocacy, grant-making and management, and outpatient clinical care.
