The COVID-19 Committee (C19C) is a student-led committee that recruits and connects OUHSC students to COVID-19 projects and initiatives happening on campus. The C19C also recognizes student involvement in the fight to end the pandemic.
Michael Clark is in his final year of a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology at OU Hudson College of Public Health. Michael is currently working as a graduate research assistant under Dr. Katrin Kuhn, an infectious disease epidemiologist and professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Michael is currently assisting with the OU Wastewater Surveillance Team in the Tulsa area. Prior to acceptance into the MS program at OUHSC, Michael worked in the emergency room at INTEGRIS Baptist hospital, working on the front lines as the ER shifted into pandemic response in spring of 2020. He worked to admit COVID patients into the emergency room and help enforce the visitor and mask policies.
If you are a student who has been (or is) involved in the fight to end the pandemic, please connect with the C19C at https://bit.ly/3sFuR8z to have your contributions recognized.
