The Office of Sovereignty, Opportunity, Belonging, and Engagement (SOBE) was created to serve students, staff, and faculty at the Hudson College of Public Health. The goal of our office is to help foster a welcoming climate and an environment where all feel a sense of belonging. Each month we recognize and celebrate different cultures, host seminars on different topics, and organize events to celebrate our community’s achievements and alleviate stress. Additionally, the SOBE Office conducts annual climate surveys to continuously hear from students, staff and faculty on how to improve the college’s atmosphere and ensure everyone feels valued and appreciated.
