HCOPH Staff Member Chosen as OUHSC's February Employee of the Month

One of our own staff members, Evelyn Lanham, has been chosen as the OUHSC Staff Senate Employee of the Month for February. This award is given to one staff member every month for their outstanding service and dedication. Evelyn has worked in the Center for American Indian Health Research as a project assistant for the Strong Heart Study for the last 6 years. She considers her job an “enlightening experience” and is proud of what can be accomplished as she and her colleagues work together to improve duties and workflow.

Evelyn’s favorite part of her job is seeing how the research studies help people and knowing she is a small part of making life better for others. From data entry to ordering supplies, she loves it all! She credits her two wonderful supervisors, Dr. Ali and Dr. Zhang, and her amazing colleagues, for this honor. Outside of work, Evelyn enjoys spending time with her family and pets and being involved with her church.
