Please help us welcome our newest faculty member, Sara King!
Sara King, MPH, has joined just the Department of Health Promotion Sciences as Lecturer and Associate Director of the Bachelor of Public Health program. Sara is coming to us from the Oklahoma State Department of Health's District 6 County Health Departments, where her role as director of community engagement and health planning allowed her to experience and collaboratively implement local public health practice across urban and rural communities, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sara is familiar with the Hudson College of Public Health, as both alumna and current adjunct faculty. She is an avid traveler, having visited 30 countries, and a dog lover, taking many morning walks with her pups, Ruda & Chance.
In case you missed it, Sara also received the Department of Health Promotion Sciences’ 2021 Young Alumni Professional Award for her outstanding contributions during the pandemic.
