Dr. Dana Mowls-Carroll graduated with a PhD in epidemiology in 2017 from the Hudson College of Public Health. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health with research, service, and teaching efforts focused on cancer prevention and control. She has ongoing research collaborations with American Indian tribes that entail developing personalized and culturally-tailored approaches to smoking cessation and conducts research to identify ways to make the cigarette less addictive and deadly. She is also a mom to two girls: Faye and Ada.
