Michael is an Oklahoma native from Stillwater. After graduating OSU in 2009 with a bachelors in American History he returned to school in 2015 to pursue pre-med focus at UCO. During that time, he also worked at Integris Health emergency department. While working the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic shut down he decided to shift from a pre-med focus to an infectious disease epidemiology path. Currently Michael serves as an evaluation GRA for ONIE and assists the OU Wastewater Surveillance Team with reporting to the CDC NWSS system.
