The COVID-19 Committee (C19C) is a student-led committee that recruits and connects OUHSC students to COVID-19 projects and initiatives happening on campus. The C19C also recognizes student involvement in the fight to end the pandemic.

Emily Eischen Martin, an MPH candidate in epidemiology, uses her practicum project to focus on analysis of Tribal BRFSS data to identify predictors of vaccination against COVID-19 in the American Indian population. Determining factors that are significantly related to vaccination status will help to tailor vaccination efforts and promote uptake. Emily also works as a nurse's assistant on the med/surg unit and the COVID unit, caring for our COVID-19 patients.

If you are a student who has been (or is) involved in the fight to end the pandemic, please connect with the C19C at https://bit.ly/3sFuR8z to have your contributions recognized
