Several faculty members and students from the Department of Health Administration and Policy (HAP) at the Hudson College of Public Health recently participated in the Oklahoma Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Annual Spring Meeting, held April 24–25, 2025, at the historic First National Center in downtown Oklahoma City.
This year’s meeting, themed “State of Oklahoma – The Finance Perspective,” brought together healthcare finance professionals, decision-makers, and thought leaders from across the state for two days of insightful presentations, networking opportunities, and dynamic discussions.
The Hudson College of Public Health proudly supported the event as a Silver Sponsor, with HAP faculty and staff also hosting a booth at the trade show. The booth highlighted the department’s innovative Master of Health Administration (MHA) and Executive Master of Health Administration (eMHA) programs, sparking interest among attendees seeking advanced training in healthcare leadership.
Thanks to a generous partnership with HFMA Oklahoma, free registration was offered to all HAP students, providing them with invaluable access to:
- Expert-led sessions on pressing financial issues in the healthcare industry
- Opportunities to network with top professionals and potential employers
- Breakout sessions focused on real-world challenges and cutting-edge solutions
Featured speakers included executives from leading healthcare organizations across Oklahoma, who shared insights on navigating today’s evolving healthcare landscape through sound financial strategy and leadership.
