Overview

Step into the dynamic world of health services with the Master of Public Health in Health Administration & Policy at OU Hudson College of Public Health. Our graduates are making a difference in diverse health sectors, from hospitals to federal organizations.;

The Hudson College of Public Health and the Master of Public Health program offered by the Department are accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH). The MPH program may be completed by full or part-time students and is offered in Oklahoma City.

Curriculum

This comprehensive 45-credit hour program offers courses like Health Policy and Politics, where you’ll learn to navigate and influence the complex landscape of health policy. In Organizational Theory and Behavior, you’ll gain insights into the workings of healthcare organizations and how to drive positive change. Through our Health Care Quality Management course, you’ll master the art of ensuring excellence in healthcare delivery.

STEM Designation

The Master of Public Health in Health Administration and Policy program is NOT considered a STEM-designated degree program.

A STEM-designated program is an academic program that falls under at least one of the approved categories from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). These categories are recognized by the government for their focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics. Admissions Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or entry-level first professional degree from an accredited institution.
  • Must be in good standing with the college or university where currently enrolled or last attended.
  • Grade point average of 3.0 or above using the upper-division coursework of the bachelor's degree.
  • College Algebra or a higher-level math course.
