Dr. Cassandra D. Querdibitty joins the Department of Health Promotion Sciences from Southern Plains Tribal Health, where she served as the Tribal Epidemiology Center Core Program Manager from 2021 to 2023. She is a citizen of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma and a descendant of the Muscogee Nation from the Tiger (Kaccv) Clan and the Mekusukey Band. She completed both her PhD and MPH in Health Promotion Sciences from the Hudson College of Public Health. Her research interests are focused on American Indian health and well-being, children’s environmental health, and maternal health.
