Health Administration and Policy Professor Receives Seed Grant from PHF

Junying Zhao, an assistant professor in the Department of Health Administration and Policy, was recently awarded a $50,000 seed grant by the Presbyterian Health Foundation (PHF) New Investigator Seed Grant Program for her project “Covid-19 and Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Injury Compensation, Vaccination, and Vaccine Production and Innovation”.  The long-term goal of the project is to create a research program at the intersection of medicine, law, and economics that produces evidence-based vaccine policies, which help the US prepare for and effectively respond to current and future pandemics.
