With this membership, Dr. Chen accomplished one of the most significant achievements in statistical/biostatistical careers at the international level and is the first and only member from our college and University to receive this award.
ISI Elected membership is open to individuals who are established in their careers and have made significant contributions to the statistical profession. Elected Membership involves an election conducted by the ISI Elections Committee (MEC). At least three recommendation letters from current elected members of ISI, a CV or resume, and other supporting documents are required for the application. Each year, only a small amount of applicants are selected as the elected members of ISI, many from other countries.
