The COVID-19 Committee (C19C) is a student-led committee that recruits and connects OUHSC students to COVID-19 projects and initiatives happening on campus. The C19C also recognizes student involvement in the fight to end the pandemic.

Kavya Boyina, an MPH candidate in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, is currently working to assess the validity and reliability of a “fear of COVID-19 scale” and to explore the relationship between fear of COVID-19 and vaccine response rates in a healthcare worker population at OUHSC. Kavya analyzed and filtered data related to COVID 19 patient symptoms as part of a project in collaboration with Oklahoma City County Health Department to summarize COVID cases in Oklahoma City.

If you are a student who has been (or is) involved in the fight to end the pandemic, please connect with the C19C at https://bit.ly/3sFuR8z to have your contributions recognized.
