Long-time Dean’s Office Staff Member Retires

Published: Friday, July 8, 2022

Deanna Debus, Associate Dean for Administration and Finance, is retiring after more than 19 years of service. In 2003, Deanna began her career at the Hudson College of Public Health when she was hired by Dean Elisa T. Lee as an Administrative Manager in the Center for American Indian Health Research. In 2005, Deanna was hired as staff account in the Office of the Dean. She was quickly promoted and became the Business Manager in 2005, Assistant Dean in 2010, and Associate Dean of Finance and Administration in 2012.

Outside of work, Deanna is passionate about traveling, spending time with her family and being involved with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, an American fraternal order that invests in communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, meet the needs of today’s veterans, and improve the quality of life.

We wish her all the best in this new chapter.
