The COVID-19 Committee (C19C) is a student-led committee that recruits and connects OUHSC students to COVID-19 projects and initiatives happening on campus. The C19C also recognizes student involvement in the fight to end the pandemic.
Laura Shamblin, a first-year Master of Health Administration and Policy candidate and Fellow in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, was part of the 2020-2021 the OK Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) class. She and her classmates participated in a group project that surveyed organizations who serve individuals with developmental disabilities about the impact of the pandemic on their services. She prepared a poster presentation of her research findings and presented them at the OU Interdisciplinary Conference and the Association of University Centers of Disabilities 2021 National Conference.
If you are a student who has been (or is) involved in the fight to end the pandemic, please connect with the C19C at https://bit.ly/3sFuR8z to have your contributions recognized.
