Hudson College Students Honored at OU Health Campus Student Awards Ceremony

Students from the Hudson College of Public Health were recognized for their leadership, service, and academic excellence at the recent OU Health Campus Student Awards Ceremony, highlighting the college’s continued commitment to developing future public health leaders.
Among the honorees, Gargi Deshpande received the prestigious Robert M. Bird Society Award, which recognizes students who exemplify outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and service to the university community.
Vivian Sanchez was named the recipient of the Joan K. Leavitt Award, an honor that celebrates exceptional dedication to service and leadership. Sanchez’s commitment to improving community health outcomes and her active engagement across campus have made a lasting impact. Photo available.
Sebika Dulal earned the Outstanding Senior Leadership Award, recognizing exemplary leadership, initiative, and contributions to student life. Dulal has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing public health through both academic and extracurricular involvement. Photo available.
Students Hanxia Li and Dorsa Hosseininasab were both recognized with Campus Life Awards, highlighting their meaningful contributions to enhancing the student experience and fostering a vibrant, inclusive campus community.
David Bolade received the Joseph J. Ferretti Outstanding Senior Leadership Award, one of the campus’s highest honors for student leadership. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional integrity, leadership, and service throughout their academic careers.
“These awards reflect not only the individual accomplishments of our students, but also the strength of our college community,” said Dean Bratzler. “We are proud to see our students recognized at the campus level for their dedication to leadership, service, and public health.”
