Hudson College to Host 2026 AIHA Oklahoma Section Fall Conference

The Oklahoma Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association will hold its 2026 Fall Conference in partnership with the University of Oklahoma Hudson College of Public Health on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the OU Health Campus in Oklahoma City.

The annual conference is organized by the AIHA Oklahoma Section team, which includes faculty and students from the Hudson College’s Department of Occupational and Environmental Health. Their involvement reflects the department’s commitment to connecting education and research with the professionals working to protect the health and safety of Oklahoma’s workforce.

Industrial hygiene professionals identify, evaluate and help control environmental and occupational hazards that can affect workers and communities. The conference will bring together professionals, students and other partners to exchange knowledge, learn about issues affecting the field and strengthen connections across Oklahoma’s occupational and environmental health community.

The program will be held from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will offer seven contact hours of continuing education. Breakfast and lunch are included with registration.

Hosting the conference at the Hudson College also gives students an opportunity to engage with professionals in their field and see how occupational and environmental health principles are applied in workplaces and communities. These connections can help prepare students for future careers while supporting continued learning among practicing professionals.
