The Hudson College of Public Health will welcome two distinguished alumni and statewide public health leaders for its next Public Health Grand Rounds on Wednesday, March 11, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Edward N. Brandt, Jr. Auditorium.
Keith Reed, Oklahoma Commissioner of Health, and Brandie Combs, Chief of Staff at the Oklahoma State Department of Health, will present “Oklahoma’s RURAL Health Transformation,” highlighting efforts to strengthen rural health systems and improve access to care across the state.
Reed brings nearly three decades of experience with the Oklahoma State Department of Health, including more than 23 years in local and state leadership roles. A graduate of the Hudson College of Public Health, he is focused on positioning public health as a foundational partner within the broader health care system while advancing community health and economic prosperity throughout Oklahoma.
Combs, also a graduate of the Hudson College of Public Health, serves as Chief of Staff, where she helps guide statewide public health strategy, operations and cross-sector collaboration. She is widely recognized for her commitment to community-driven solutions, systems integration and improving access to care for vulnerable and underserved populations statewide.
