Three Hudson College Faculty Named Among World’s Top 2% Scientists

The OU Hudson College of Public Health is proud to announce that  Dale W. Bratzler, DO, MPH, James N. George, MD, and Sara Vesely, PhD have been named to the Elsevier and Stanford University Top 2% Scientists list for 2025. This global ranking identifies researchers whose work has demonstrated exceptional influence in the scientific community, based on career-long and single-year citation impact across 22 scientific fields.

Recognition on this list reflects the significant contributions each of these faculty members has made to advancing medical and public health knowledge. Dr. George’s decades of groundbreaking hematology research, Dr. Vesely’s highly cited scholarship in biostatistics and health outcomes, and Dr. Bratzler’s national leadership in health care quality and infectious disease prevention have shaped clinical practice, public health policy, and scientific understanding.
