Health Administration and Policy Professor Receives Seed Funding for Department of Defense Supply Chain Research

Junying Zhao, an assistant professor in the Department of Health Administration and Policy, was recently awarded $20,000 from the Oklahoma Aerospace and Defense Innovation Institute and the OU Data Institute for Societal Challenges to conduct their proposed research: “Enhancing US Department of Defense Vaccine Innovation and Supply for Warfighters and Biodefense.” The projects are researching innovations for the supply chain needs of the Department of Defense. Zhao co-led this research with colleague Myongjin Kim, from the Department of Economics at OU Norman.
