Dr. Karabukayeva is a health services researcher with expertise in health services administration, health policy, and implementation science. Holding a Ph.D. in Health Services Administration and an MPH in Healthcare Organization and Policy, she combines extensive international experience in health system management and consulting with a focus on improving healthcare quality, access, and addressing disparities. Her research centers on the implementation of evidence-based interventions, including patient decision aids, and clinical decision support tools. Dr. Karabukayeva utilizes both quantitative methods and qualitative approaches to address complex health services research questions. She is committed to advancing learning health systems and promoting equitable health outcomes through her work in both research and teaching.
