Biography

Dr. Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health. Before joining the faculty at the Hudson College of Public Health, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Coordinator at Michigan State University. Dr. Li earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Science and Technology in Beijing, China, a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. During her doctoral study, she also worked as a research participant at the United States Environmental Protection Agency (RTP campus) from 2018-2020. Following by the training at USEPA, Dr. Li was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Florida from 2020-2021. Her research goal is to understand and reduce the health risks from the air that we breathe.
